Revisiting the Magic of Circles by Darren Eden
In this edition of “Tools You Can Use” we are going to revisit Victim and Creator Circles.
Drawing an imaginary circle around yourself and defining it, is an incredibly powerful intuitive technique. As soon as the circle is drawn and defined intuition floods your consciousness in perfect resonance with your definition.
At The Magician’s Way we work with the premise that there are two aspects of self. We are both a Creator and a Victim. Your Creator is your soul. It knows what you truly love, it contains your unique gifts and talents and knows your true purpose in life. It can also be called your Higher Self.
Your Victim is your identity or personality.
We call it your Victim because this aspect of your consciousness is literally a victim to the unconscious assumptions you formed in childhood. It is that aspect of yourself that is always in reaction to your circumstances and is not self-determining. It is your Lower Self.
William summarizes the two beautifully by saying; “Life happens to the Victim, whereas the Creator happens to life.”
To create anything magically it is vital that you are aware of both aspects of yourself. I say this because each aspect of consciousness sets up a completely different orientation (way of seeing and being in life) and as such, they set up divergent pathways. Each has completely different agendas. Your victim unconsciously goes about resolving your identity whereas your Creator wants to fulfill your true purpose. It’s devoted to something far greater than your identity.
During February, William and I traveled the country giving people the experience of their Victim and Creator in relation to their true purpose. We asked each person to draw an imaginary Victim Circle around themselves and receive their victim’s relationship with their true purpose. They then rubbed that circle out and drew a Creator Circle and received their creators’ relationship with their true purpose.
Doing this is very grounded and very practical. A great example of this is when William and his wife, Christian, were seriously considering becoming property developers a few years ago, after they made $70,000 in 5 weeks from renovating a house. Before launching into their new venture they wanted to determine if property development was aligned with their true purpose, so they took the time and went through the Victim and Creator circle technique together.
When they stepped into their Victim Circle their victims were very excited and said “GO FOR IT! You’ll be living next door to Donald Trump in 3 years.” However when they stepped into their Creator Circle they got a straight out NO. William’s Creator said to stop working, take time out, heal himself and write a book. While Christian’s Creator said to love and nurture him through that process while furthering her own passion for design.
Straight away they were presented with the two divergent pathways I mentioned earlier. Develop property or take time out to heal and write. Had they become property developers their lives would be very different today. There’s no way of measuring if they would have succeeded, but it’s very obvious to see that going down that path would have only served themselves. i.e. their identity, they would have played out their victim consciousness.
Instead, they listened to and acted on what their Creator said. As a result William is now completely healed from what was diagnosed as an incurable illness, the Magician’s Way has been written which has impacted at least 45,000 people’s lives to date and William has elevated the self-transformation modality he had been developing for 10 years to a level unimaginable before. It’s very obvious that their Creators led them in the direction of their true purpose, which served something far greater than their individual identities. They have been rewarded with better health; a happier and more loving family and a larger community of self-empowered people and, interestingly, more wealth. It’s fascinating in hindsight to notice that their victims could only see the wealth whereas their Creators could see true riches – health, happiness, love, empowerment, as well as material wealth.
William’s example should inspire us all to step into our Victim and Creator circles whenever we have a major decision to make and especially when we want clarity on our true purpose.
Here’s the process for you. You can do it on your own, but I would recommend getting together with at least three other people and tune in together so that the intuition is more amplified and more objective.
1) Think of a major decision you have to make.
2) Set the intention of receiving the outcome that will serve your true purpose.
3) Imagine drawing a circle around you and define it as your Victim Circle.
4) Be open to receive everything that occurs to you once the circle is drawn and defined.
5) If you are on your own write out everything you’re receiving and interpret it by making up what it means to you until it rings true.
If you are in a group, ask the other people to imagine stepping into your Victim Circle and share the intuition they receive while you stay open to receive their wisdom.
6) When complete, rub out the Victim Circle and imagine drawing another circle and define it as your Creator circle.
7) Again be open to receive everything that occurs to you once the circle is drawn and defined.

 8) Review and debrief what you received from both circles (don’t worry about rubbing out your Creator Circle.)
9) If you want to start living your true purpose, take action on whatever you received in your Creator Circle.
