Reframing Problems as a Creator by Darren Eden

This month I’m going to take you through a process which will help you resolve any conflict or problem you may be experiencing. The beauty of the process is that it allows you to see the truth of the situation and create resolution as a Creator. It has been said that a problem cannot be resolved by the same mind that created it. Your Victim created the problem and your Creator will resolve it. The process is very simply called the Conflict Process.

Your Victim creates problems because it is orientated by assumptions. Your Victim is constantly projecting assumptions it made up in the past onto you current reality. The Conflict Process helps you to very clearly see the assumptions you’re making in any situation. The true magic of this process is that it also gives you the ability to reframe the problem from the perspective of your Creator. When you do that not only do you resolve the problem, you also gain complete clarity about what you’d truly love to create.

I recently took myself through the Conflict Process because I was extremely pissed off that I missed out on getting tickets to the Byron Bay Blues Festival because I really wanted to see Michael Franti perform. I assumed I was a dork and didn’t deserve to go anyway, only cool people go to the Blues Fest. I justified it by saying I was too exhausted anyway and I’ll need to rest over Easter. When I reframed it as the Creator I am, my intuition told me that I could experience my love for music at anytime and that there would always be opportunities to see Michael and other artists I love. Then the magic happened. Practically the next day Joanna’s midwife told us that Michael Franti was doing a gig on the Tuesday night after the Blues Festival. So I ended up seeing him at a more intimate venue and then met him personally two days later at the Gold Coast airport. I can certainly testify to how powerful this process is.

The Conflict Process has three sections to it:

The first section helps you see what your thoughts and feelings are in relation to the problem, and then allows you to see the assumptions you’ve made up about yourself, others and the world.

The second section asks you to think of an age in childhood and to allow an incident to emerge that happened at that age. Go with the first thing that comes to you. Your intuition will serve you impeccably. You will see that your Victim made the decisions and assumptions you had in childhood and those same decisions and assumptions created your current day conflict.

The third section empowers you to reframe the childhood incident from the perspective of your Creator and then translate that perspective onto the current “problem’. You do this by imagining stepping into your Creator circle and receiving what your Creator knows to be true about the situation.

The Conflict Process is outlined below for you:

Section One – Uncovering your Assumptions

1) Think of a recent conflict or problem you’ve experienced.

2) What do you think about the problem?

3) How do you feel about the problem?

4) What are you assuming about yourself, others and the world? Or,
a) How are you defining your self?
b) How are you defining others?
c) How are you defining the world?

Section Two – Determining the Origin of the Problem

5) Think of an age in your early childhood.

6) How old are you?

7) What are you experiencing?

8) What are you deciding about yourself, others and the world?

9) What is the underlying assumption created by that decision?

10) Where’s the power (what are you making important?)

11) What is the inevitable end result of that pre-occupation?

Section Three - Reframing the Problem as a Creator

13) Go back to the early life experience and imagine stepping into your Creator circle. See yourself and anyone else who was involved as a Creator.

14) Allow yourself to forgive everyone concerned, especially yourself.

15) How do you see the childhood experience when you are in your Creator circle?

16) How do you see the current conflict when you are in your Creator circle?

Darren EdenFeel free to take yourself through this process with any problem or conflict you are experiencing, whether it be large or small. The more you do it the more impactful it will be for you. It is a wonderful way to elevate yourself from the assumptions of your Victim to the bliss of your Creator.
